Frequently Asked Questions

Will the wood grain show through cabinets if I paint them?

Some grain may show through, depending on the type of wood.

Do you remove cabinet doors to paint them?

No…we paint them in place.

Are cabinet doors or hinges removed when painting cabinets?

We will not remove cabinet doors or hinges. Hinges can be covered or painted upon request.

Do you switch out the hardware?

No, we don’t switch out hardware.

Does the estimate include the cost of the paint?

Yes, the estimate is all inclusive. It includes labor, materials and sales tax.

Does the paint smell or is it low VOC?

Most of the water based products are low VOC  (volatile organic compounds), and low odor. Any oil based paint used for wood surfaces will be higher in VOC and odor.

What brand of materials do you use?

We prefer to use high quality materials supplied by Sherwin Williams, which allows our crews to work efficiently. If you would prefer another manufacturer please let us know. Use of materials from another company may increase the price of your project.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured.
